What a fabulous place you have.  Seriously, we had the BEST "1st" family vacation!

Your condo is in the perfect location.  The view of the water is like no other...so beautiful.  It's exactly what we were looking for.  We spent majority of our time at the beach, which is in perfect walking distance.  The kids (Madison 2.5 & Brady 1) were thrilled to see the dolphins, loved  looking for sea shells every morning, and every evening watching the sunsets on the beach.    What more could you ask for....    We did adventure to Disney Magic Kingdom one day - what a terrific time we had :).   Disney's not too far either.  The weather in Siesta Key was fantastic and so was the ice-cream at Big O's.  The staff at the complex... all very nice.  I can see why you have picked such a fabulous well kept place.  It met our expectations & had everything we needed - right down to the beach toys for the kids.  Thank you....

We so enjoyed our much needed stay and would love the opportunity to come back someday.  Thank you so much for allowing us to create so many memories at condo 409.  Many blessings to you and hope our paths cross again....

Matt, Hollie, Madison & Brady - Saginaw, Michigan

October 31- November 14, 2009
We are thoroughly enjoying our time in your apartment which fits our requirements perfectly. The view is great and we spend lots of time in the lanai when not walking the beach. We find it very relaxing here and for me to have 9 hours sleep each night is unheard of. We have taken a trip out to Armand Circle and then on up to Anna Marie island, but Siesta Key is hard to beat, and where most of our time will be spent. Best Regards, Andy & Kate, UK

August 5 - 12, 2009
We enjoyed your condo very much, great position, nicely decorated and very well equipped. The only problem was that we had to come away! We had been to Siesta Key before, but not stayed any where as nice as your place and so we would definately like to stay there again next time we visit the area. I'll keep your web-page handy - under the 'must do again' list. All the best,  Phil, UK

February 23 - March 29, 2008

We are back!  Another 5 weeks-enjoyed our stay as usual.  Our 6th stay at #409, had a great time, loved the new bedding and new verticals.  Of course the print picture above the bed is the finishing touch.  We absolutely love that print so much that we have it in our living room at home.  Looking forward to next year, we are signed up for 6 weeks - god willing.  Have a good year, stay well.  See you same time-same place.   Regards, Phil & Barbara - Huntington, N.Y.

February 2 -9, 2008

Your home is VERY comfortable.  We really enjoyed our stay here + Siesta Key beaches are beautiful!   As for things to do and places to eat, a visit to the Ringling Museum complex is recommended.  The grounds & buildings have to be seen, especially Cad Zan-take a guided tour.  Allow at least 4 hours.  While in Sarasota plan a visit to Armand Circle for shopping, strolling & perhaps dining.  For local dining Javiers and Turtles are recommended for value.  For those who like wine, Javiers is especially interesting for carefully selected "new world" wines - and the food is good.  For finer dining, Cafe Gabbiano is worth a try, but dinner can run to $100 person with one of the more expensive wines on the list.  Try Turtle Beach for shelling.  Walk south and bring a large plastic bag.  And thank you to the Majeskes for supplying a wonderful place to stay.

Best Wishes - Wanda & Richard -  Longmeadow, Massachusetts

December 29, 2007 - January 12, 2008

Thanks for the use of your condo, a perfect place to chill out.  New Years Day concert at Van Wezel followed later by musical evenings at the Golden Apple Dinner Theatre added to the enjoyment of the vacation.  No doubt the best place to eat on the Key is Cafe Gabbianos in Siesta Key Village.  Turtles also pretty good.

Best Wishes, Judeth & John - Leicestershire, UK

December 7 - 15, 2007

Thank you for this great place, it exceeded our expectations. The view, the beach, the pool, the nightlife and the restaurants have filled our days and evenings. We loved the great beach chairs and beach umbrella you had in the condo. We were so relaxed we had to drag each other away from the beach. We will take many memories back to Canada with us. John and Kathy Windsor, Ontario, Canada

December 15 - 28, 2007

We had great holidays on Siesta Key.  The beach is so beautiful.  Your condo is a perfect place to stay.  We enjoyed the live music at SKOB & the cocktails as well.  Best place to chill out.  Hopefully we can come back.  Greetings from Claudia and Ralf - Monchengladbach, Germany

November 26 - December 7, 2007

Each day and night was filled with fun, adventure and soul searching.  What better place to be - from the sand in your toes while sunning or star watching. We almost ran over a bald eagle and made a wish on a shootnig star.  We watched beautiful sunsets each evening and ate oysters on the half shell.  Thank you so much for the great experience.  Thanks, Karen and Gary-love you.

Pam (Lincoln Park, Michigan) and Sue (Tampa, Fl)

November 18-25, 2007

Wow!  What a gorgeous location for a condo.  Your description on the VRBO website does not even come close to how fantastic your condo is-all the comforts of home and even then some.  Binoculars, beach chairs and umbrella, small cooler & even a beach bag!  Next time we wont need to bring  half the stuff we brought because it is all here.  Sunsets were amazing, breakfast on the lanai-what more can we say?  Daiquiri Deck and ole Salty Dog are great restaurants for eating, relaxing and just watching the world go by.  Highly recommend the Ringling Museum and Art Gallery - miniature circus replica was awesome.  Mote Aquarium was more than we imagined-very interesting and nice set up.  Again, thanks for making your wonderful condo available.  We will be back.   Shryl & Don -  Port Tobacco, MD.

November 11 - 18, 2007

Karen & Gary:  As frequent visitors to Siesta, this was by far our best trip.  Your place exceeded all our expectations and we could not have been any happier.  Our vacation motto is "eat, drink & be merry"!!! and we did a lot of that this week.  I dont think you can put a price on a nice bottle of chianti, a cheese platter, a little Dave Matthews Band and the sunset view from your lanai!!!  We cant wait to come back.  We of course enjoyed the beach and all the restaurants.  We took full advantage of the "2 for 1" Daiquiri Deck happy hour specials and twice made it to Tijuana Flats for lunch.  If you like Mexican food - you MUST try this place out.  We loved the Sunday night drummers at the beach and recommend it to all that follow.  We even managed to catch a TB Lightening game for a little slice of home while we were away.

Thanks for opening up your fabulous place - we cherish the memories and cant wait to come back!!!  Anthony & Kate - Stouffville, Ont, Canada

November 4 - 11, 2007

Karen & Gary, Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo.  You have certainly thought of everything to make it feel like home.  The beaches are beautiful & the restaurants were great.  "Cafe Gabbiano's" for excellent Italian food.  The sunsets....the walks on the beach...this is indeed a taste of paradise.  Thanks again,  Diana & Ron -  Nashua, NH

September 11 - 18, 2007

We love this area.  This is our 10th trip to Sarasota and the 5th time we've stayed on Siesta Key itself.  Each time we've found better and better accommodations but there's no need to look further.  With your condo we've found the perfect place to stay on SK.  The accommodation is superb and the equipment (including chairs and sunshade for the beach) is excellent.  The communal pool tops off the package.  Our favourite restaurants:  Daiquiri Deck and Old Salty Dog.   What a place to chill out!            Dave and Carole -  Wokingham, UK

August 25 - September 1, 2007

Aunt Karen & Uncle Gary:  Thank you for allowing us to stay at your condo.  We ate breakfast every morning from the Lanai...the view of the beach was our favorite.  You have provided everything we could have ever thought of...from the selection of CD's, beach stuff, to even a pizza cutter and a blender!  (our daiquiri recipe)  We tried a few places to eat, Coasters was by far our favorite and the Old Salty Dog had good food also.  We also went to the Daiquiri Deck and Kelly says everyone must try the "Strawberry Shortcake" Daiquiri!  We found that the best time to look for seashells if about an hour before sunset, when the tide has gone out.  The view of the sunset on the beach was amazing.  Everyone must see at least one sunset here.  We had a wonderful time down here and we look forward to coming back to #409 again.  Be sure to wear lots of sunscreen if you are going to the beach.  Thank you!!  God Bless, Kevin & Kelly  -  Troy, MI

July 14 - 21, 2007

We really enjoyed our stay in your condo.  It was perfect for us.  The weather was great all week and the beach is wonderful!  Siesta Key is a beautiful place.    David & Angel   Pendleton, IN

May 14 - 22, 2007

Karen & Gary :)  After 20 hours of traveling we arrived here.  The condo was even greater than we had expected.  The condo is really a home away from home :).  The view is superb.  All you need for a good vacation is here.  You can make gourmet meals in the kitchen, have the best picnic at the beach, eat at really good restaurants and everything close to the condo. We totally took advantage of all the beach stuff you have.

The condo is excellent and we loved the decor.  Loved to have meals out on the lanai - No views like that in Iceland!          Best regards, Olafur &  Elin - ICELAND

5/5/07 thru 5/13/07

Hello Karen & Gary!  Once again, we had a fabulous time in Siesta Key.  This was our third trip, second time in your unit.  Overall the weather was great although we had a couple of hazy days due to the fires in Georgia & Florida.  We will pray that raid comes and takes care of the dangerous dryness.  This has to be the most relaxing place in the world.  Reality will definately hit hard tomorrow!  We are looking forward to coming back again next year.  Thanks for everything.... God Bless.  Rob & Renae - Milton, WI

April 2 - 9, 2007

We had a great time in Siesta Key.  The white sand and the beach is unique.  Thanks for letting us use your apartment.  It's fully staffed with everything!    Evelyn & Hans Peter, Aesch, Switzerland

2/24/07 - 3/31/07

Karen & Gary!  One more great stay @ Siesta Key and our 5th stay at #409.  Everything was good here.  We only missed your great linens and towels!  We met some very nice new people at the pool. Weather was perfect!  We are signed up for next year - same place, same time.  Take care and stay well!       Sincerely,  Barbara & Phil     Hustington Sta.  NY

January 27 - February 10, 2007

Karen & Gary - We much enjoyed our stay in your condo-not only is it comfortable & attractive (with a great view of the beach and gulf!), but also very conveniently located for getting to the many points of interest in the area.  We had chilly/rainy weather for our first week, but found lots to do indoors - museums here & in St Petersburg, the Mote Aquarium, etc. & when the sun came out & things warmed up we enjoyed the Selby Botanical Gardens, Spanish Point, Myakka River State Park & of course, walking on the beach.  We tried many of the restaurants mentioned by previous guests in your book, but also very much like Javier's & Miguel's on Midnight Pass road & JO-TO Japanese reataurant in the Village (we've left menus in the book).  All in all, an excellent base for a vacation far from VT winter and your condo certainly lived up to - if not surpassed - our expectations.  We'll hope to be back another time - thanks.    Ghita and Harry  - Shelburne, Vermont

January 7 - 27, 2007

Hi Gary & Karen,  We loved our time here!  The view is magnificent on the patio.  Loved the beach and the heated pool.  We tried the Broken Egg Restaurant for breakfast (in Siesta Key).  Very, very good!  We also liked the Outback in Sarasota and Don Pablo's in Sarasota.  We had lunch at Sharkeys (Venice) - food was OK.  Mostly we played tennis and spent our time at the beach.  We will be back next year.  Your condo was very comfortable and clean.  Bob & Phyllis - Flushing MI

January 9 - 16, 2007 -  Thanks for the memories.....

This IS just like home!  We live in Atlantic Beach, KY!  Your decorative touches, cleanliness, view, DVD's, games - very thoughtful to provide so many diversions.  Tried Cafe Gabbiano - beautiful atmosphere, nice music - food just "ok"!  Terrific lunch at the Lobster Pot.  Very fresh grouper!  Lunch at the outdoor deck at Turtles was very good, reasonable and relaxing overlooking the Bay.  Turtle Beach is narrow with no interesting shells.  Visited the SW Guide Dog Training School - (info in Karen's restaurant / sightseeing book).  Very informational and fun - if you love dogs.  Great shopping at Prime Outlets in Elliston (Rt 41 @ I75)  Sand Bar dinner on Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island - good food.  Light menu at Cad'Zan bar in Ritz Carlton - excellent value & great atmosphere.           Carlene & Miles  -  Atlantic Beach, KY

November 4 - 18, 2006

Karen & Gary, We are back for our 5th visit to Siesta Key! This is our 2nd year in your condo.  We enjoy the accomodations here very much.  Very homey and comfortable.  Thank you for keeping a beautiful peace.  We missed our visit last year.  We chose to do "family bonding" with my brother-in-law and went to his place on the east coast.  We really missed it here.  We are very fortunate to have any year here.  The weather has been so beautiful.  Its rainy today, but it will give us a chance to shop!  Which is always fun.  Thanks again for making our 2 weeks the most enjoyable ever!  Best Regards, Tony & Maria - Haverhill, Mass

Karen & Gary, Thank you so much for opening your home to us for our 27th anniversary/vacation!  Love the tile floors, inside and out.  Went to Coasters tonite, great choice & we will definately go back there.  You condo was perfect for us!  Hope to rent for many years to come!  Thank you again so much,  Patty & Fred

Lynn & Pete - Milwaukee, Wi.

15 - 30  June 06

This is our second visit to Siesta Key and our first was in #409.  The condo exceeded our expectations, everything that you could possibly need was provided.  The view from this balcony is tremendous and we have spent many hours enjoying the view of this Little Bit of Paradise.  We visited the the Mote Aquarium, Mayakka State Park and took a 1 hour sail with Key Sailing, Tom & Sally, in their 14 foot yacht "Key Breeze", which was fabulous.  Our favorite eating place was Turtles on Turtle Beach, great food and excellent value.  We have really enjoyed our two week vacation and thank you for sharing your home with us.  P.S.  Lobster Ravioli at Lobster Pot was excellent!       Sam & Anne - Largs, Scotland

6/3/06 - 6/10/06

Hi Karen and Gary,  We truly enjoyed our second stay here at your condo.  Everything's been perfect - weather, sunsets, etc.  This time we made it to St. Armands Circle and had an enjoyable evening - dinner, lots of shops, ice cream, and the beach was right there.  Thank you.  We hope to be back again! (soon!)  We tried Turtles also-they've got fantastic food! Brian & Leanne - Canton, Mi.

Hi Karen and Gary,                                                                                                                  A wonderful vacation in your great condo.  A beautiful view, so well equipped and tastefully furnished.  We love Florida and especially Siesta Key, so hope to be back and we would certainly choose 409!!  Our favourite restaurant is Turtles on Turtle Bay.  Great food, great value and we took advantage of "Happy Hour" 4 PM - 7 PM!  Thank you again,  Joan & Graham - Yorkshire, England

4/14/06 - 4/22/06

Karen & Gary:  The is only one word to describe this place:  PARADISE!  The weather was perfect - 85 & sunny all week.  We loved the white sandy beach and the balcony.  Dave's favorite dinner was the Lobster Ravioli at the Lobster Pot.  My favorite place to eat was Coasters.  We went on the Dolphin Watch cruise - saw 2 dolphins.  Went to Universal Studios- that was awesome!  We didn't mke it Parasialing, ran out of time.  My daughter, Sam, her boyfriend Ian were here for 2 days and hated to leave (he had college exams).  Karen - thank you for all of your valuable information you've given over the last few months.  Our stay was comfortable & enjoyable.  We'll be back!  (Hope you like your sign and new saying:  What Happens on the Beach, stays on the beach!)           Linda (Belleville, Mi)  & Dave (Irish Hills, Mi)

4/1/06 - 4/15/06

Hey Karen & Gary,  Things could not have been better here.  The condo was fantastic, beautiful weather and to put the frosting on the cake, my niece's wedding was between the green and the blue lifeguard stands across the street!!  Myself and Marie want to thank you for sharing your little bit of paradise with us and wish you all the best life has to offer.  Dominic & Marie - Bennett

This is our 2nd year here and we are still amazed how nice this place is.  I still love the pool and the beach.  You guys have improved the hotel alot and added more great stuff!  You have also made this hotel feel like home, each year I come, it's better!!P.S.  We (heart) love how you put baskets of sea shells in the rooms, BE BACK SOON!!  XXOOXXOO  Katie - age 10 - Rogers, CT

Dear Karen & Gary,  It's actually our 3rd time in # 409 and again you've done a lovely job making it warm and friendly.  Visitors might have a good afternoon checking out a somewhat overlooked piece of Old Sarasota (pre-interstate).  Sarasota Jungle Gardens is a slightly funky, low-key place just south of the airport off 41.  Stunningly beautiful, tranquil tropical garden setting with just enough "kitsch" to make it fun.  Hey, one of the performing parrots there now was really on the Ed Sullivan Show in the 1950's!   Thanks again, (Katies folks-above)  Dan & Sandra - Rogers, CT

12/26/05 - 1/2/06

Dear Karen & Gary,  What a fabulous time we had at your lovely condo.  Weather was 72 and sunny six days in a row.  We walked miles on the beach and thanked God for all the grace.  Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven.   Your friends, Derual and Greg

Nov 17 - Nov 25, 2005

Love your condo!  We found Siesta Key about five years ago.  This is our first time at Crescent Royale.  Your view is the BEST.  Love the tile.  Every condo should have it near the beach.  We felt really at home here.  Hope to return next year.  The xxxxxxx's, Dry Ridge, Kentucky

November 3 - November 17      "playing with stingrays!"

Dear Karen and OG:  Thank you so much for the stay at the condo.  The amenities are marvelous and the condo is so nicely decorated.  A definate 5-star stay!  The view is spectacular especially the sunsets.  Siesta Key is a fantastic place - the shops, restaurants & bars are so much fun!! THANK YOU!!  Love, Pam & Jeff  Lincoln Park, Michigan

October 22 - November 5, 2005

We spent two great weeks here and the only "work" Gary had to do is paint the living & dining rooms.  We had new tile installed in September & hope all of our guests like the new updates.  (The bedroom was updated in July)  Hurricane Wilma blew through on Monday 10/24, early in the morning, so no damage and we didn't need to evacuate!  The sun was out by noon.  We want to welcome our new guests who visit after 11/5/05, and a "BIG WELCOME BACK" to our returning guests: Norma & Mike,  Monti & Toni, Dan & Sandra and Barbara & Phil-we really appreciate you returning year after year to condo #409.  Gary & Karen Majeske, New Boston, Michigan

Aunt Karen - What can I say?  This place is amazing!!  The view, the beach, the warm water, the shops & restaurants are all wonderful.  I have to say SKOB & The Beach Bar were our favorite.  Love you & thanks for giving us this fun - but relaxing get-a-way!  Love, Allison, Trenton, Michigan P.S.  You would not believe all the "Michiganders" we ran into here on the Key! :)
